LAYB is a member of PONY Baseball and plays by PONY rules. The difference between the PONY brand of baseball and Little League is that Pony more closely resembles Major League Baseball (MLB) play. PONY plays by MLB rules allowing both leadffs and stealing sarting at age 9 and field dimensions are more appropriately sized.
In 2012, LAYB celebrated its 50th anniversary as a youth baseball league. LAYB is honored that PONY Baseball has selected us to host the Bronco league World Series. We are excited for the opportunity it brings to the Los Alamitos community and baseball fans across Southern California.
